In the Indy Lights Series this week, the penultimate event of the year will be held at the Kentucky Speedway, with drivers having just a couple of chances to earn more championship points. The race at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta is going to be held on October 2nd and will start at 12:00PM that Sunday. After that, the series will join the Indy Car competition on October 16th at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Nevada for the final event of the year, ending the 2011 season for both the Indy Lights and the IZOD Indy Car Series.
